My experiments with CAT

I just learnt that i gave AIMCAT 2 not AIMCAT 1.

AIMCAT 1 was conducted during the previous week.

Cut 0ffs:

DI: 30

VA 31

Q.A: 26

TOTAL: 113 for at least 1 IIM call, 126 for 4 IIM calls.

My scores

DI: 31

VA: 32

Q.A:28

TOTAL: 91

Analysis :

though i managed to beat all cutoffs the total wasn't enough.

Main problem is SPEED. AIMCATs/MOCKCATs must be given enough respect in the sence u cant just stroll through the paper as if u have all the time in the world. Point NOTED.

Monday i went to TIME office and joined their AIMCAT basic series.Next AIMCAT is ONLINE. Because of login problems I was asked to book the slot for next AIMCAT after this Wednesday.Am eagerly looking forward to it.

I am taking sectional tests during alternate days. Am going through Barrons and IMS wordlist as fast as I could though there is no need to haste as am going to re-schedule GRE date certainly...
